Explore Halton Region through the eyes of Jefferson Salamander!

June 7 , 2016

Take a virtual hike on the Niagara Escarpment in Halton Region! Virtually explore Country Heritage Park and the Conservation areas in the region through the eyes of Jeff, the Jefferson Salamander. Learn facts and tips about hiking safely through his home on the escarpment and learn how you can protect the flora and fauna native to Halton Region.

This interactive tool was created by Halton Region Museum. A number of Halton's Escarpment-based organizations, like Country Heritage Park, worked together to help build this tool.

After exploring the escarpment with Jeff, why not book a visit with Country Heritage Park to see his home in person! Our educational programs are interactive, educational, and best of all fun for all ages! Country Heritage Park offers School Field Trips, Summer Day Camps, and Guided Tours in a memorable location nestled beside the Niagara Escarpment.
