Connecting the dots – that is what Country Heritage Park is all about; a homage to yesteryear and building for the future. It is an 80-acre site depicting a rural crossroads community reflective of the past 185 years, complete with historic buildings, fairgrounds, and a story built into the fabric of the innovators and entrepreneurs who build the foundations of modern food and farming, and guide its future even today. Nestled in the shadow of the Niagara Escarpment, and on the western frontier of the fastest growing community in Canada (being Milton), CHP provides a unique bridge to the more than seven million residents of the GTA.

Your kind contribution will ensure that the tens of thousands of students who pass through our gates will take home a message that food, farming, and life are an integrated cycle that begins with you. At CHP, we are a showcase, a moving picture rather than a still image, of the vital importance that farmers and the land they worked and all who come through our gates leave with a greater appreciation of Ontario heritage, the hard work endured by our pioneers who lead the development of the changing landscape with the province, and a kernel of knowledge that their food does not come from within a grocery store.

As a not-for-profit organization, we strive on ensuring that the experiential learning and feeling of community is there for all, and the benefits derived from the values held and taught at Country Heritage Park add to the future direction of our province and its citizens. But it is only doable with the assistance of individuals and corporations who believe, like we do, that connecting the dots between food, farming, and society makes a better today and a brighter tomorrow.

That is what your contribution will do, and for that, we thank you.
