Teaching Garden

Trial Plots & Display Garden

Country Heritage Park in collaboration with the Plant Science Department at the University of Guelph, Williams Dam Seeds, All American Selections and an expanding list of development partners is establishing a Teaching Trial & Display Garden at Country Heritage Park as part of our Food Literacy Education Program. The display garden opened in 2016 and the traditional, non-traditional vegetable and fruit crops, ornamedibles and expanded display garden will open in 2017.

A series of gardening, pollination, composting and Food Literacy workshops are under development as part of this initiative – watch this space for further developments and announcements.
